Peer Review Process

1. Manuscript Submission

• Authors submit their manuscripts through the JEMABITEK online journal management system.
• Manuscripts must comply with the journal's submission guidelines and fall within its focus and scope.

2. Initial Screening by the Editor

• The editor conducts an initial screening to ensure the manuscript aligns with the journal's focus and scope and follows the submission guidelines.
• Manuscripts that do not meet the initial criteria will be returned to the authors for revision or rejection.

3. Reviewer Assignment

• If the manuscript passes the initial screening, the editor assigns at least two reviewers who are experts in the relevant field.
• Reviewers are selected based on their expertise and experience.

4. Review Process

• Reviewers conduct a double-blind review, where the identities of both authors and reviewers are kept confidential.
• Reviewers evaluate the manuscript based on originality, scientific quality, contribution to the field, and adherence to the journal's guidelines.
• Reviewers provide recommendations to the editor: accept, accept with minor revisions, accept with major revisions, or reject.

5. Editor’s Decision

• The editor evaluates the reviewers’ reports and makes a final decision.
• The editor’s decision can be: accept, accept with minor revisions, accept with major revisions, or reject.

6. Communication with Authors

• The editor communicates the decision and feedback from the reviewers to the authors.
• If revisions are required, authors are given a specified timeframe to resubmit the revised manuscript.

7. Revision and Resubmission

• Authors revise the manuscript according to the reviewers’ and editor’s feedback.
• The revised manuscript is resubmitted to the journal for further review by the editor or the same reviewers.

8. Final Decision

• The editor makes the final decision based on the revised manuscript submitted by the authors.
• If the manuscript is accepted, the authors will be informed about the publication schedule.

9. Publication

• Accepted manuscripts are processed for publication.
• The accepted manuscript will be published in the appropriate issue of the journal.

10. Dissemination

• Published manuscripts will be available online and accessible to readers worldwide.
